Repurposing items for your wedding doesn’t need to feel rustic or dull. Here is proof!

The shoot took place in The Orangery at Hayne House, Kent, and is fresh, vibrant, and playful. Sustainability is at the heart of the venue, which uses triple-glazing argan glass windows and roof lanterns to retain heat in the colder months and stay cool in the summer. The Orangery has roof lanterns, making the room bright all year round - a perfect blank canvas to play with and lots of natural light. The stunning garden is also a great space for the wedding ceremony to take place and the reception, being surrounded by natural beauty.

Eco-conscious weddings can still be style conscious!

Inspired by spring vibes, featuring lots of bright oranges, deep greens, and touches of pink throughout the design. The colours were consistent throughout the styling- from the florals to the cool stationery, draping, the bride’s beautiful velvet green wedding shoes and the groom’s attire. The majority of what you can see in this shoot is available for hire, from the napkins to the dress, the crockery, to all the furniture. Hiring items for your wedding is a great way to be sustainable. This shoot shows how couples planning their wedding can be eco-conscious without compromising on style.

The table included foam-free floral centerpieces with blousy spring blooms, tassel menus, natural dye napkins, and a modern draping installation created with recycled fabrics, complimented by the coolest pink toxin chairs from a hire company.

Repurpose your wedding flowers to make your budget go further.

Florals in particular can account for a large part of your wedding budget so, by having them move around the venue throughout the day, you can really make the most out of them! All the flowers used were repurposed throughout the day, from the lounge area to the dessert area. This can really help your budget go further and it creates continuity throughout the day. Working closely with your florist and finding ways you can make the most of your florals on your wedding day is key!

Hireable wedding outfits.

The bride's dress and hair bow accessory are from Something Borrowed Rent, a modern hire company that provides brides with an alternative to buying a dress that is likely to sit in a cupboard for years to come and not be re-worn. Hiring your wedding outfits is a great way to repurpose and create a more circular approach to the fashion industry. It’s a modern approach to wedding styling as well as being cost-effective.

Decorations can be repurposed after your wedding.

Banners are a perfect example of decorations that can go on to be repurposed after your wedding day. Personalised wedding banners are popular choice in modern weddings because they serve as a beautiful memento of your wedding day. Making conscious decisions with your wedding budget will make it work better for you as well as being less wasteful.

Wedding stylists will ensure your budget goes further.

Working with a stylist is a good way to ensure you get the most out of every penny of your wedding budget by repurposing and creating impact in all the right places! A good wedding stylist will make sure your style is reflected throughout the day, making it unique to you. A stylist will work with you to find suppliers who align with your vision. Also, using hire companies is a great way to not only save money but to prevent wastage!
