Stunning Pink And Green Wedding Inspiration At The Giraffe Shed

Pink and green has to be one of my favourite colour combinations at the moment. It’s the perfect clash… opposites attract and all that. I often think that if I had my time again (wedding, that is) then I would probably trade in my neutral palette in favour of something more eye-catching and memorable. For any brides-to-be who are deliberating over their all important colour scheme as we speak, this shoot by Natalie Pluck might just be the inspiration you need.

Just get a load of this cool groom!

We know how hard it can be for the guys to source something other than the age old and quite frankly ‘un-flattering’ monkey suit so we have all the heart eyes for this green velvet alternative minus the standard cravat and waistcoat combo. It really sets off the bride’s delicate and romantic gown and compliments the bridesmaid’s short, mint green prom dress.

The thing is, its not always as simple as picking your favourite colours and running with it. There are so many other things to consider and the location is a BIG one. Unless you are getting married in a space that is a blank canvas then you need to consider how your own hand selected details are going look in their surroundings. Its all about the composition and even the chillest brides out there do not want to run the risk of looking out of place against their backdrop.

The Giraffe Shed in Tregynon, Wales was the perfect location for this super-cool wedding inspiration shoot. An alternative to the usual barn wedding venues!

‘‘ Part giant rustic barn with surrounding meadows; part industrial warehouse with concrete detailing; part ‘your’ living room, with sofas and delicious dusky pink walls. ‘‘

Need we say more?!

Our personal favourite feature has to be the candy striped wall on the outside part of the shed. Has there ever been a cuter backdrop for you and your ‘maids to pose in front of? You just know your guests are gonna be in selfie heaven!

We love the way the perfect amount of light and shadow in this shoot. It’s everything you want from your wedding day. The luscious landscape outside is crying out for those all important ‘golden hour’ photos… a chance for you both to slink away from the party and begin to take in the beauty of your day.

… And just when you thought it couldn’t get any cooler… FEAST YOUR EYES on the cake gorgeous donughts! Who ever knew that skulls could be this adorable?!

What do you think of all these perfect details? Has it given you inspiration for a pink and green wedding, or maybe some home interior goals?
