THE UN-WEDDING SHOW IS BACK!
Our debut shows in February 2019 were such a raving success we just had to do it again and don’t you worry, we will be doing it again and again and again!
This time we are throwing a ‘DAYTIME DISCO’ and we want you all to be there! The theme of our forthcoming shows have been inspired by the beauty of the mirror ball 💿💿💿 We love anything that plays with the light and creates magic. We also LOVE how the not-so-humble mirror ball is so symbolic of a PARTY!
We will be back in 3 major cities and 3 STUNNING venues:
LONDON: The Art Pavilion, Mile End 21st - 22nd September ‘19
BIRMINGHAM: The Custard Factory, Digbeth 19th - 20th October ‘19
LEEDS: Left Bank, Cardigan Road 17th November ‘19
We found the atmosphere at our debut shows to be so electric and this was all down to the incredible people that THE UN-WEDDING attracts… from our friendly and talented suppliers with their beautiful stands and wares to our shiny happy brides and their tribes who were totally engaged (no pun intended) and whole heartedly on board with what was on offer to them. So many matches made… photographers booked, yesses to dresses, flowers picked and bridesmaids sorted!
We want to recreate our special and magical vibe by making it even more of a celebration with our DAYTIME DISCO! We will have a live DJ, delicious cocktails, our glittering disco dolly ‘maids casting their light over everyone… not to mention fashion parades and our carefully curated selection of the coolest independent wedding suppliers with their EXCLUSIVE on the day offers for our brides and their tribe!
We are buzzing to announce that our favourite blog sponsors are back on board! The almighty Bridal Editor with her fashion heart and keen eye for cool bride style and the lovely Erin from Way Out Wedding! Erin is just about to launch her print magazine full of rebel-heart-un-wedding goodness to support and reflect the work of her own directory members . WE LOVE THAT! Our V.I.B ticket holders will be able to snag a copy in their goody bags but numbers will be limited… only 100 available for each day.

Thankfully, our Book Of Love directory features the most fantastic suppliers that can take your idea and deliver it back to you better than you could ever imagine! We knew exactly who to call upon for this, having met Ripple + Flip and Disco.Lucy when they exhibited at THE UN-WEDDING SHOW BIRMINGHAM in February. These girls are ALL about the party!
We commissioned Emily from Ripple + Flip to make us a statement bridal hat with the word ‘YES’ emblazoned on the front. Is there any word more synonymous with marriage than this?! We don’t think so!
We wanted to get Disco.Lucy’s dollies involved as our suggested ‘maids because they are such an awesome spin on the mirror ball theme… and what’s more is that they actually do spin!… and you can hire them for your own wedding or event. That’s right! Our Book Of Love directory is full of suppliers who have the best ideas and then make them into a reality so that people can have better parties… I mean ‘weddings’!
We were thrilled and honoured to be shooting a couple of pieces from our Bridal sponsors HOMthecollection because I saw their garms IRL at a recent pop-up on Portobello Road. I felt like they had managed to personify THE UN-WEDDING bride with their cute embellished bralette and silky wide legged trousers. We think our gorgeous model Beth felt pretty amazing in them and MY GOD! … Did she look it?! HOM will be winging their way over from Dubai to exhibit the rest of the collection at our London show scheduled for 21+22nd September at The Mile End Art Pavilion and we can’t wait to show you! The collection will be available online very soon!
We’ve been dying to work with one of our original Book Of Love babes, Amy George, since forever! Amy always creates the most beautiful skin on her clients and we wanted that ‘fresh’ glow for our bride. We love that Amy champions the ‘less is more’ approach and she knew exactly what to do when shown a picture of the model and the clothes. This is skill! We were really excited to meet Amy when she exhibited at THE UN-WEDDING SHOW LEEDS in February. She’s adorable and we can’t wait to have her back at our next Leeds event of 17th November at Left Bank.
Last but not least in this Book Of Love DREAM TEAM is our brilliant photographer, Jason Williams. We’ve worked with Jason before on a previous editorial and we find his spirit and enthusiasm for his job so infectious! Jason is always well up for playing around with different ideas and techniques to create something extra special. This is the kinda guy you want behind the camera on your wedding day! He also brings the vibes so we are really glad that you can meet him face to face when he exhibits at THE UN-WEDDING SHOW LONDON.
We feel really lucky to have the chance to do THE UN-WEDDING SHOW again. Despite the debut shows being a smash there were so many ups and downs…. 1000 mistakes made and 1000 lessons learned. Having so many of our Book Of Love directory members on board along with some previous suppliers is testament to the success of THE UN-WEDDING SHOW! We have listened to the feedback from our brides and suppliers alike to ensure that our events go from strength to strength each time, keeping our ethos at the core - Make New Traditions!
