Hey, I’m Meg, the friendly Northern celebrant. I conduct out-of-this-world wedding ceremonies for couples who are unashamedly besotted with each other.
I’m an accredited humanist celebrant and my vibe is warm, fun, and supportive. The couples I marry tend to be planning party weddings, a bit like those epic nights out that become legendary within a friendship group and you talk about for years after.
I love to work with people who are a little bit geeky and are definitely not going for the traditional sugared-almond style wedding. If you love your pet more than some of your actual human relatives, I see you. If you’re gamers, you’re into comic books, or you’re slightly fanatic about whatever your hobby is, you are my people.

I’m based in Yorkshire and my ceremonies take place all over the country. Along with my regional accent, comes a down-to-earth Northern sense of humour and an ability to chat with mams/dads/nanas/grandpas/mates from ANY background. I’ll do my best to help you and your guests feel comfortable and relaxed. No stuffiness here. Just a genuine affection for people and their stories.
Whether you enjoy being the center of attention or you’re cringing about that part, my job is making sure you enjoy your wedding ceremony and all the prep that leads up to it.
