I'm Betty, and my love affair with wedding photography began at my own wedding over ten years ago. At 23, as I walked down the aisle, I discovered a deep connection with the wedding world. A few months later, I transitioned from graphic design to full-time wedding photography, eager to capture the magic of others' special days. My neurodivergence has been a creative catalyst, shaping my unique perspective and allowing me to see and capture the world in a wonderfully different light. My approach is centred on authenticity and simplicity, capturing the quiet, heartfelt moments that define each wedding - whether it's a gentle touch, a spontaneous dance, or a shared smile. But I’m also there for the moments of joyous celebration, like a shower of confetti or a stunning fireworks display.
In my life, it's the small pleasures that bring the most joy. I adore cozy sweater days, savouring the perfect pastry, immersing myself in adventures on my Nintendo Switch, or unraveling the secrets of my weekly tarot readings (with a bit of googling). Balancing life as a photographer and a mum to a spirited 2.5 year old keeps me grounded and constantly inspired. For me, photography is more than just a job; it's a part of my identity, a means to connect with and celebrate the diverse tapestry of life's moments.
