London In Love: A Super-Cool Shoot For The Millennials

I am absolutely over the moon to be able to showcase this SUPER-COOL styled shoot that took place on the streets of London.
It's colourful, fun... 'un-wedding' to the MAX... aaaand it features a whole host of talented suppliers from my Book Of Love directory, doing what they do best and injecting some fresh inspiration into the wedding world.
The pink and glittery escapade took place in East London's playground, Shoreditch, and is perfect for the millennial generation who are making their own traditions when it comes to tying the knot.
The concept, styling, and direction was harmonised by Book Of Love's latest recruit, Ellie Kime aka The Wedding Enthusiast and Charlotte of Redamancy Wedding Planning.
'' We're bored of whitewashed creams and trailing eucalyptus.
Absolutely beautiful, don't get us wrong, but not representative of the whole market.
We wanted to do a shoot that really showcased what we, as a team could do for couples who wanted something different. ''
Well girls, I think it's safe to say that goal was achieved.
The girls wanted to recreate a laid-back, intimate elopement feel with a badass couple, representative of today's millennials.
'' We wanted to capture a couple who were free-spirited and oozed style, whilst eschewing many of the traditional elements that they may not feel reflects 'them' anymore.
We played on an elopement style setup, complete with matching denim jackets and laid back café setup, before roaming the streets of London and having fun! ''
'' We've got grit and brick, shiny moon balloons, pink glitter, 80s-influenced stationery and confetti absolutely everywhere! ''
Now let's just pause for a second to talk about that AMAZINGLY COOL wedding stationery, designed by none other than Keady Row, yet another brilliant creative in the Book Of Love's stellar line-up.
I love that these guys specialise in typography, something that really sets them apart and is a surefire way for couples to portray their personality on paper... beautiful paper!
'' We wanted to maintain effortless cool with the details... a huge textured bouquet, pink velvet platforms, a midi-length applique lace dress and slick, soft hair and makeup... a perfect un-wedding, for a perfect couple... ''
The images were captured by one of the industry's most sought-after photographers and fellow Book Of Love supplier, Joanna Bongard.
Joanna has a diverse portfolio of cool and creative weddings that are guaranteed to WOW and inspire modern couples.
The 'cool bride style' makeup was down to MEGA-BABE, Amy George who can also be found hangin' out in my Book Of Love.
Amy creates that pared back beauty like no other... perfection for the millennial bride.
The bride's statement accessories were sourced from Book Of Love's fave, Jane Bowler Bridal. These futuristic, geometric designs are real show-stoppers that you could happily wear time and time again.
The result of this shoot is a testament to how AWESOME your wedding can be... (even if it's just the two of you)... when you break away from the norm and hand pick some exciting suppliers who truly represent 'you'!
