The Un-Wedding Show Manchester | Victoria Warehouse | May 2024

Written by Helen-Louise Dudney

Well we certainly ended our first season of shows on a high! On Sunday 19th May 2024, we took The Un-Wedding Show back to the iconic Victoria Warehouse in Manchester. With it’s atmospheric lighting and industrial vibe, Victoria Warehouse is the perfect alternative wedding venue for Un-Wedding couples and throuples. And dare I say it, it looked even better than last time and the sun was shining!

We welcomed our gorgeous attendees into the incredible space filled with our carefully curated selection of suppliers. From bespoke creations to heartfelt conversations, let’s just say the atmosphere was electric as so many genuine connections were made.

If you were lucky enough to join us then you will already know that we are NOT your typical wedding fair - thank God! Our suppliers don’t just want to stand there handing out shitty flyers, they want to show you what they can do and wait for the revelation….they want to talk to you, to hear about what YOU want on your wedding day!

Our carefully curated, diverse wedding suppliers definitely showcased their individual brands and services through their thoughtfully styled spaces. It was like walking through a wedding wonderland filled with creativity and flair. Every corner exuded character and its own vibe, making it a feast for the eyes and a treat for the imagination. The attention to detail was so impressive, and the passion the suppliers poured into their setups was clearly visible, with one of our wedding photographer’s even taking dog treats for their stand as they know how much dogs love The Un-Wedding Show!

Mariel Osborn truly worked her magic by transforming the space with her canopy of shimmering sparkles. These sustainable streamers are THE perfect way to elevate your wedding venue to the next level!

Our attendees had lots of fun having their picture captured by Viva La Booth

Celebrants

When it comes to choosing your celebrant, finding THE person who is the right fit and has the vibe you envision for your wedding day, is as personal as choosing your pants! We were lucky to have the wonderful Wit & Wonder Ceremonies and Gill Charlton, each offering a unique blend of personality, expertise, and charm that will perfectly complement your special day.

SO pretty! And so much fun when attendees stopped to chat with Gill Charlton Celebrant
