The Rock The Frock 2021 Boutique Collection is here and oh boy is it stunning! With influences from photographer Helmut Newton, the 2021 Boutique Collection has been designed, styled, and shot to demonstrate the strength of women.
Over the years, Rock The Frock has seen hundreds of brides frustrated at the lack of contemporary, fashion-forward wedding dresses available to them. This means that many women have travelled across the country and even internationally, to access their exclusive collection of dresses.
‘We wanted to represent the type of woman who selects Rock The Frock to find her ideal wedding outfit. Brides who are strong, independent women in everyday life and who choose a wedding dress that reflects exactly this. Our brides are not princesses waiting to be rescued, they have chosen a partner - an equal - with who they wish to celebrate their love on their wedding day in a bridal outfit that makes them feel like the ultimate version of themselves.’
Working with renowned fashion photographer, Nick Chard, the Essex based bridal boutique chose to shoot the collection in an unexpected style to what we tend to see in wedding industry.
‘The mood is fierce and we captured a juxtaposition of the brutalist backdrop of Margate against the flowing, beautiful gowns in luxurious fabrics.’
‘Through this concept, we illustrate how women can be empowered on their wedding day to be their true selves while being unified in love without being constrained by tradition.’
Rock The Frock is proud to stand for women who choose not to follow the rules and, instead, choose a cool alternative to the traditional wedding dress.
‘Our decision to start designing and manufacturing our own range of modern wedding dresses for bad-ass women was a natural one, born from the desire to offer a wider range of gowns to include ALL women.’
