Oh, what a way to close out 2024! The Un-Wedding Show wrapped up its phenomenal year at the iconic Factory Works in Digbeth, Birmingham, and let me tell you - it was everything. This was the last Un-Wedding Show of the year, and it went out in true style, pulling out all the stops to create a space that was equal parts creative, diverse, and bursting with inspiration.

From the moment you stepped inside Factory Works, the energy was electric. Thanks to Trashy Decor, the venue sparkled with disco balls, shimmering streamers, and a vibe that screamed party perfection. This wasn’t your run-of-the-mill wedding fair - average just isn’t our style! It was a full-on immersive experience packed with personality, fun, and those wow-factor details that will take your big day to the next level. And the suppliers at The Un-Wedding Show? They weren’t just showing up—they were SHOWING OFF (in the best way possible). Absolutely sensational! Every one of them was carefully selected for their creativity and originality, bringing fresh ideas and unique touches to inspire every couple.

Music and Entertainment with a Twist

The soundtrack of your wedding is everything! And let’s be real - what’s a party without banging tunes? Music is always a BIG deal at The Un-Wedding Show, and this time we hit the jackpot with an awesome line-up of the UK’s fave wedding DJs. They had the decks spinning all day, delivering the vibe we didn’t know we needed but absolutely loved. Each ready to help you create a wedding playlist that screams you. Music sets the tone for your day, so whether you are looking for a DJ to keep the beats flowing or a singer to serenade your guests, these pros know how to keep the dance floor alive. And if you’re all about a live band vibe, Wedding Jam has the connections to hook you up with acts from literally every genre you can think of, wherever you’re getting married. Basically, if you can dream it, they can jam it.

For something quirky - Rebel Mini Golf brought the fun factor - seriously, mini golf at your wedding? Yes, please!

Visual storytelling was on full display, with the best in the business showcasing their unique way to capture love in its rawest, most beautiful form. The photography and videography talent was off the charts! From emotive storytelling, to modern vibes, there was something for every nearlywed, and our attendees were lucky enough to chat with the people behind the camera!

Art That Captures the Magic

Talk about capturing the moment! Hephy Studio, Jessica Woodhouse, and The Live Wedding Painter wowed everyone with their unique takes on real-time wedding artistry, whether you’re looking for an artist to capture you or your guests on your wedding day, these artists know how to turn special moments into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces. Meanwhile, Rubbish Portraits added a quirky twist - where guests got to step in the oh-so-cool booth to find a live artist whipping up their portrait in just three minutes! And yes, they got to take home their hand-drawn masterpiece as a keepsake. Over at Planet Booths, the fun didn’t stop, with their props bringing endless entertainment to the pictures they were capturing!

FLORALS

Florals are a wedding staples, but choosing the right florist can completely transform your vibe! Whether you're all about wild, whimsical arrangements or something sleek and modern, the magic is in the details—and the florist you pick. Suppliers like Fleur & Rebelle, Kitty Bigonesse, Petalhead and Noisy Wren totally get this, bringing their unique styles and creative expertise to craft blooms that match your personality and vision. These florists don’t just deliver flowers; they create living art that makes your big day unforgettable. Whether you choose faux or real blooms - trust us, your wedding florals will be anything but ordinary!

Where?

Now, let’s talk venues - because wow, did they deliver! The Giraffe Shed had us totally floored. This place is packed with personality, and if you’re looking for “your wedding, but make it cool,” then this is exactly what we’re talking about. It’s quirky, it’s bold, and it’s basically the ultimate backdrop for couples who want their big day to scream individuality.

Then there’s Deckerdence, which had us dreaming of epic celebrations on wheels (literally—it’s a venue on a bus, and it’s AMAZING). And Elmridge Farm? Laid back charm turned all the way up! They had us dreaming and buzzing with creative ideas and imagining every wedding-day possibility under the sun.

Decor, Style, and Details

We were totally swooning over Sylvie Signs beautiful hand-painted designs. Think dreamy, personalised signage for your wedding day, that will look incredible in your home forever. And don’t even get us started on The Huffing Dog - their bespoke fabric banners and embroidered goodies are the definition of charming, and perfect for adding style and individuality. Honestly, we’d like to drape everything in their gorgeousness, please and thank you.

As you wandered through the show, the creativity on display was almost overwhelming (in the best way). From stunning jewellery (hello, Natalie Vernazza and Adorn Permanent Jewellery) to jaw-dropping wedding dresses and outfits that scream “I was made for this moment” (big shoutout to Lottie Marie Bridal, The Wedding Club and Soul Bride by Nico for bringing the wow), we were totally living for the fashion.

Meshwell Prints and Different Day Studio set the bar so high with their swoon-worthy stationery with designs so cool, they’re basically works of art.

Then, of course, there’s the styling and wedding planning magic happening all around. Whether you’re getting your hands on the most perfect props from Trashy Decor or Bluebell Occasions, or planning every little detail with Toast Styling, Big Sister Events or Orange Tree Weddings, these suppliers know how to make your big day feel personal and, let’s be honest, pretty epic.

Celebrants

It wasn’t just about the visuals and entertainment.
