The Un-Wedding Show Sheffield: A Recap of the 3rd Event at Trafalgar Warehouse

Photography by Rachel Burt

On the 11th of February 2024, The Un-Wedding Show returned to Sheffield for its 3rd event at the iconic Trafalgar Warehouse. The blank canvas space and industrial charm of the venue always provide the perfect backdrop for a day of alternative wedding inspiration and unique vendor showcases.

The Un-Wedding Show is famed for its emphasis on creativity and individuality, featuring a carefully curated selection of independent wedding vendors specialising in everything from unconventional bridal wear to unique floral arrangements.

Our 300-strong crowd had the opportunity to connect with our vendors IRL, making it a more personal way of choosing the team of people who get to add those all-important, special touches, to their modern wedding.

From sustainable wedding florals to inclusive celebrations, our hand-picked vendors are always reflective of The Un-Wedding's commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity within the wedding industry.

As always, our attendees praised the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the show in comparison to traditional wedding fairs. With a focus on showcasing vendors who offer something different from the mainstream, The Un-Wedding Show Sheffield succeeded once again in providing a platform for couples to explore alternative wedding options in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

The Sarah Nulty Of Music Foundation

The Un-Wedding Show Sheffield is special in many ways but most of all because it allows us to support the local charity, The Sarah Nulty Power Of Music Foundation. Sarah was my best friend who sadly passed away in 2018. Her mum, Julie, set up the charity as a way to honour Sarah’s name and her huge contribution to the Sheffield music scene. The charity provides grants to help develop the musical advancement of people from disadvantaged backgrounds in Sheffield.

Members of our Book Of Love directory including Married To The Music, Wedding Jam, and Singing Jennie, all came together to provide high-energy musical performances throughout the day.

Thanks to everyone who bought a ticket, we we able to donate £500 which is the equivalent of 1 grant. Thank you so much for helping us spread the joy of music in Sarah’s name.
