Well Bristol that was FUN! On 22nd October The Un-Wedding show took over the beautiful Paintworks for our debut Bristol show. With its exposed brick and loads of natural light, this alternative wedding venue was the perfect location for our carefully curated selection of wedding suppliers to showcase themselves and what they do, and they did not disappoint!
The gorgeous couples, throuples and canines that we welcomed into the show were able to chat to our inclusive wedding suppliers who all have something unique to offer. And yes I did say chat…the suppliers didn’t just want to hand out a shitty flyer and get the attendees to move on, they wanted to see what they wanted for their wedding day to see if they were the right fit for each other and that’s what makes The Un-Wedding show SO special!
Handpicking our suppliers means that we are offering THE BEST wedding business owners to our attendees who we know ultimately, they will want to book…. It’s just down to choosing which ones, as if I was getting married again, I would want them ALL!
The Un-Wedding vibes
Nobody wants to be wandering about in a cold, soulless space where people don’t want to engage with you, luckily The Un-Wedding Show is the exact opposite of that and is known for its party atmosphere. Music is such a crucial part of most people’s lives and therefore it goes without saying it’s a crucial part of a lot of people’s wedding days too. As music taste is as diverse as your personality it’s important to get it right FOR YOU and your wedding day! Wedding Jam brought the tunes to Bristol as they were DJ’ing live which set the party atmosphere. You can find Wedding Jam listed in our Book Of Love directory, so if you want the UK’s favourite wedding DJ to do what they do best and create THE PERFECT SOUNDTRACK to your wedding day, then hit them up before they get booked up!
Incorporating your own style and personality into your wedding day is exactly what The Un-Wedding is all about. From choosing an outfit that you love wearing, to selecting the right celebrant that just gets you, to finding wedding stationery that reflects you and florals that aren’t the same as what everyone else chooses just because that’s what you SHOULD have, it’s all part of your day!!
And don’t let me forget the CAKE… who doesn’t love cake. Bristol based Sweet Peach Cake Studio’s cakes looked incredible, and tasted amazing, so even though the ethos is around creating gorgeous, hand painted centrepieces to share you might want to make sure to keep some extra pieces back from your wedding guests just for you!
Of course, having the right person to capture your wedding day is SO important. We were lucky that The Un-Wedding Show always has the best photographers and wedding videographers in the business and Bristol was no exception.
The Costa Sisters stand was awesome, it reflected their personality perfectly and showcased exactly what they are all about. They will travel to WHEREVER you want to get married and capture you on film doing it HOWEVER you choose! Their laid back, creative vibe is cool AF just like the videos they produce. If you were lucky enough to grab one of the 100 VIP tickets and got a goody bag, then you will have found a little treat from the Costa Sisters too.
